Who Are We?

 

I'm Stacy.

 

I'm passionate about life, love, and telling a story with my images. There's nothing in this world like the moment when I know I've captured a moment in time that will be forever treasured. I love babies, I love weddings, I love people in love. I love, LOVE.

 

Along with Amanda (my assistant and 2nd shooter), we promise to capture your most precious life events with our cameras and our lenses in a way that will MOVE you. With over 100 weddings under our belts and over 10 years of combined photography experience, we are well equipped to provide you with an experience and with images that you will be proud of and treasure, always.

 

Life passes by much too quickly and the only true way to slow it down is to capture it in photos. Let us tell YOUR story.

 

 

Other FAQ's

 

Q- What are your hours of operation?

A - Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays are "shooting" days, aka days that I will be accepting requests to shoot weddings or newborn sessions. Most Saturdays will be reserved for weddings and Sundays the studio is closed.

Client pick up dates/times are

Mondays - 6:00pm - 8:00pm (by appt. only)

 

Q - What are your rates?

A - Weddings begin at 1900.00 and newborn sitting fees start at 250.00. Please contact me for more info.

 

Q - What type of photo sessions do you offer?

A - As of January 1, 2014 the specialized focus of Stacy's Creations Photography will be weddings and newborns. Those who choose the Bellies to Babies package will still be accomodated for the included maternity, 6 month and 12 month sessions and wedding couples will still get their included engagement session. The occasional birth session may be available as well.

 

Q - What if I want to have a newborn session done but also want to include a sibling?

A - As of January 1, 2013, newborn sessions will now be just that, strictly newborn. My main focus is getting those sleepy shots you see on my website which takes a lot of patience and minimal distraction. An add-on +Mom, Dad, sibling (if applicable) session can be added on at a later time for an additional fee.

 

Q - What is your availability and how far in advance should I book?

A - Please contact me at scphotog1@gmail.com to check on availability. For my potential wedding clients, I suggest booking a minimum of 12 months in advance and for regular sessions booking a minimum of 10-12 weeks in advance. For newborn sessions, please book those while you're still pregnant as I prefer to see all newborns in the studio within the first 14 days of life.

 

Q - How do I book with you?

A - Please use the contact page here on the site to get in touch or email me directly at scphotog1@gmail.com. I will then contact you back to answer any further questions, confirm availability, and arrange for the retainer to secure your spot.

 

Q - What is the deposit required?

A - For weddings, a 500.00 retainer is required to secure your date. For newborn sessions the 250.00 sit fee is required and for the Bellies to Babies package, the 300.00 initial payment is due up front. All retainers and initial payments are non-refundable.

 

Q - What if the weather doesn't co-operate for our outdoor session?

A - For weddings, my couples should always have a back up plan in place and for other sessions, we can re-book for another time.

 

Q - What should we wear?

A - For all sessions, co-ordination and comfort are best. Wear clothing that will reflect you and who you are and how you want the session to "look". For indoor sessions, bringing a change of clothing or 2 is fine. An "all black" set is desirable for some classic indoor shots, especially with newborns.

 

Q - What happens after our shoot?

A - Once all your photos are ready for viewing, you'll receive an email with a link to your photos. You will then be able to place your order using my secure online shopping cart via my client proofing site.

 

Q - What is your turn around time?

A - Sneak peeks from your session will almost always be posted within a few hours of shooting. For weddings, all your photos will usually be uploaded for viewing on my website between 3 and 5 weeks after the date of the wedding. For regular sessions, anywhere from 1 week - 4 weeks. These time frames are approximate and may vary greatly depending on my schedule.
